Well it was definitely a busy day. With more pictures than I can post. I would like to say again how proud we are of Walt and all of his accomplishments. Several other first time jumpers showed up for tandems and I will post their pictures soon.

Thanks everyone who made this weekend possible with a special thanks to Buddy because if it wasn't for him we would not have this DZ to call home.

Walt Rosso being interviewed by CNN. (Check out his interview with skydiveradio.com here Show # 39) Venture Outdoors, a local outdoor show, comes by to do a piece on our Drop Zone.

It is hard to put into words about what a great day Saturday was.

Though the temperature hovered close to 100 degrees it didn't stop alot of good folks from coming out to represent our DZ.

CNN: Walt was calm, cool and collected for the CNN cameras and made all of us very proud. CNN crew members even hung out  and made 2 tandem jumps.

Venture Outdoors: Don Day and Rick Redmon show up ready to jump. Normally they "Venture Outdoors" to hunt or fish but not today! While waiting for the plane they interviewed several of the members including DZO Buddy Blue and Walt Rosso.

Check out more pictures here.

Don Day... Well he lost a shoe in freefall. So, as per custom, we hang the remaining shoe from the overhead.
