Easter Weekend @ Skydive Opelika
Saturday , April 15th 2006
Wow, what a day! Easter weekend was a treat at the DZ. With tandems, static
line, fun jumps and good food how could it get any better?

| Our 2 planes and pilots did
not get much rest. These workhorses stayed busy on Saturday carrying
students and experienced jumpers. |

Lori! |

Who could not want to jump a beautiful sky like this.
This was a shot of the sky over Tuskegee Saturday. Call us today to
jump! |
Jennifer, who came all the way from Troy, Alabama to make her first jump, was
definitely the most enthusiastic jumper this guy has seen in awhile. If your
ever in the Troy area stop by Sisters restaurant and say hey to our newest
jumper. (Their lunch is the best). Congrats Jenn, hope to see you soon. Another
notable was Pete who graduated the Air Force Academy's jump school
(A feat within itself) came out to make a currency jump. Way to go man! Can't
wait to have you back.
The Easter games came to a close and the beer light came on.
Mike Mills wife Mellisa found the golden egg hidden in the plane. Sharing
the grand prize was Ben Martin with the highest cumulative score. The "Guess how
many Jelly Beans in the Crown Royal bottle" prize went to Steve Schonk who
guessed 423; the actual was 427. Enjoy the jelly beans Steve.

| Another great day @ Skydive Opelika! A lot of
first timers and a few coming back after a long layoff. Easter
Saturday was a "Do not miss" day. We had an Easter egg hunt
awarding some great prizes, a jelly bean guessing contest and a
whole lot of jumps. We hope that everybody had a great time! Check out our
photo gallery for more pics! |
